Scenic Wonderland and Paint and Paint

I put some Tombo Multi on the bottoms of the feet of the figures and stuck them down here and there to see how they look best. Here are some images.

I found this one to be particularly good.

I also read about this paint from Hataka that is supposed to be “formulated for brushing.”

I’m curious about it–but I also remember my very bad experience with Vallejo “formulated for brushing” Model Color. That paint proved to be completely unusable. It’s formulated to be scrubbed on using a brush, which is exactly WRONG. You can get “one coat coverage” but with coverage like that I’d rather not paint it at all. The problem is brushmarks AND lack of control. With both of those things going on I can’t figure out why it’s so popular, unless the overall message here is that the typical brush painter is just a lazy slug.

Hataka’s paint may be different, but that plastic squeezy bottle puts me off. I’m skeptical. Curious–but skeptical. I’m tempted to buy some and do a review, but that would cost money.
