Episode 9: The Revenge of the Lions
It’s not real gruesome or anything. I’m trying to make this “reasonable” in tone. But there is some bloodshed, so if you were born after 2010, watch it. That means don’t watch it. Whatever.
I’ve been getting down to the nitty-gritty of this story, putting our hero into harms way and having him go on an adventure where he meets up with the Lion Squadron. All that is in the future. The book is about half (or little less than half) over and I’m having a lot of fun with it. If you haven’t checked it out you can rest assured that I’m not going to go all squishy on you and mush it up or turn it into a romance. It’s manly men being manly and war and planes and stuff all the way.
Maybe I’ll do some mush in my next adventure but don’t bet on it. I’ve never liked that stuff. It’s mostly for the ladies, I think.
There was a big memorial service down at the gas station where the man was shot and killed yesterday. People do not want to see this infernal gun violence continue, but we are stuck in a feedback loop of America–>freedom–>guns–>America and so on. Can’t break it as long and some people figure that gunfights are a good way to settle some disputes.
I kid you not– people who think that do exist. I kid you not.
